Seaton House recognised for guest experience and luxury offering

Valor Hospitality has confirmed that two of its newest five-star properties, Seaton House in St Andrews and Dunluce Lodge in Northern Ireland, have joined the exclusive Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) portfolio.

Both hotels have been officially visited, verified and vetted by SLH’s independent team, securing their place among the 620 boutique properties in more than 90 countries that make up the group’s global luxury collection.

Seaton House becomes the first hotel in St Andrews to be included in the portfolio, while Dunluce Lodge is only the second in Northern Ireland to be selected.

“It’s an honour Small Luxury Hotels of the World has included both of these wonderful hotels in its portfolio,” said Euan McGlashan, Chief Executive of Valor Hospitality. “To be on a global platform like this, having only opened six months ago, is a true testament to the distinct sense of place both hotels offer. We’re proud to see our guest experience is so highly valued in such a short period of time.”

Located just yards from the 18th green of the Old Course at St Andrews, Seaton House features 42 luxury bedrooms including six suites and three junior suites. The hotel also offers two standout dining experiences: The Board Room and Ondine Oyster & Grill, with renowned Chef Patron Roy Brett.

Dunluce Lodge, which overlooks the fourth fairway at Royal Portrush, offers 35 suites, including eight within The Stookan, a private residence designed for group stays. The property also includes à la carte and tasting menus, a wine vault, private dining areas and a boutique spa.
