Yotel Targets Gen Z With ‘Retreat Package’

As the professional landscape continues to evolve with the rise of hybrid working, YOTEL Glasgow, in partnership with its in-house destination venue, VEGA, has launched a bespoke ‘Retreat Package’ designed specifically for the modern workforce. The package targets Gen Z professionals, who prioritise work-life balance and dynamic work environments but recognise that physical gatherings boosts morale.

Neil Taylor, YOTEL Glasgow General Manager, said, “At YOTEL, we create experiences that not only resonate with our guests on a personal level but also foster a vibrant and supportive work culture.

“As Fintech businesses like Barclays, JP Morgan and other major players revitalise Glasgow’s corporate scene, the need for innovative team cohesion solutions becomes crucial and we’ve seen a demand for an all-encompassing package from our corporate clients.

“Whether it’s a wellness day, a strategic meeting, or a fun team-building event, our Retreat Package has been crafted to enhance both individual well-being and team dynamics.”

Recent studies highlight the importance of physical gatherings in boosting morale and productivity among teams and, along with the new hybrid working models, YOTEL has  reshaped business operations to target this sector. As well as daytime interactive activities include cocktail masterclasses and a ‘Big Lane Energy’ bowling competition in its four-lane neon-lit bowling alley, the 24hr Retreat Package also taps into the booming wellness market. It includes sessions aimed at improving mental well-being, to engage with Gen Z’s appreciation for mindfulness and self-care.
