The Chester Hotel is bringing the Sugababes and Michelin-starred dining to Aberdeen as part of The Signature Food Festival as they once again host the The JEllie Foundation as part of a month long series of events in support of local charities.
Since its launch in 2017, The Signature Food Festival and associated events have raised over £1.5 million for children’s charities across the North-East of Scotland. Founded by Gillian and Graham Wood, owners of The Chester Hotel, all proceeds from these events benefit The JEllie Foundation’ who provide funding and support to local charities in the North East.

The month kicks off with the chart-topping girlband The Sugababes who will headline a night that includes high-energy party band The Gypsy Queens on Friday 7 March. The evening also features a three-course menu inspired by dishes from the Signature Food Festival which features Phil Howard (Elystan Street, London) who returns with his signature modern French cuisine the following week, on 14 & 15 March.
Angelo Sato (Humble Chicken, London) will make his festival debut with innovative dishes on 21 & 22 March before Angela Hartnett OBE (Murano, London), back by popular demand, showcases her Italian-inspired creations on 26 & 27 March.
The charities being supported by the festival include A Bear Named Buttony which supports children undergoing medical treatments, Homestart Aberdeen, that helps families in crisis, The Leanne Fund, assisting young people with life-affecting conditions, The Baird Family Hospital Parents’ Hotel, supporting families of premature babies, The Archie Foundation, transforming experiences and outcomes in healthcare and bereavement for local babies, children, and families, and SensationALL which supports neurodivergent people and those will additional support needs.
