Specialist hotel property adviser, Christie & Co has successfully completed the sale of the Lomond Hills Hotel to regional developer, Glenshire Group.
The 19th century converted coaching inn in Freuchie has welcomed guests for almost 300 years but was placed into liquidation and ceased trading earlier in 2023.Now Glenshire Group are planning to make the hotel an important village hub yet again.
The property has 24 bedrooms, two function suites and a leisure centre with a pool, gym, sauna and spa as well as a restaurant and public bar- known for its collection of 52 malt whiskies.
The new owner, Harris Aslam of Glenshire Group said, “We are delighted to be acquiring the Lomond Hills Hotel and as a locally based business, look forward to investing into Freuchie.
