Houstoun House in West Lothian has been named one of the UK’s top-rated hotels in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Traveller’s Choice Awards.
The four-star hotel, part of the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts group, received the recognition following a year of consistently strong reviews from guests. The annual awards are based on feedback posted by verified travellers on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period.
Guests praised Houstoun House for its grounds, setting and service, with mentions for its scenic woodland location, landscaped gardens, attentive staff and food quality.
