Ballathie House Hotel, a traditional four-star Scottish Country House Hotel, on the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire has been acquired by IMR Hotels.
The new owners plan to “respectfully enhance the estate, embracing its storied past while creating a premier 21st-century destination for outdoor enthusiasts and wellness seekers alike.”
The plans include a comprehensive renovation strategy across the hotel’s accommodations, dining spaces, and leisure facilities while ensuring that operations remain open throughout the process.
In addition to the physical transformation, IMR Hotels plans partner with local farmers, artisans, and suppliers across their food and beverage offering using locally sourced ingredients.
The transformation is also set to bring employment opportunities to the region, with roles ranging from hospitality and culinary positions to outdoor guiding and wellness services.
