Focus Hotels Management has been awarded the management contract for Hotel Colessio in Stirling following the sale of the hotel by the Aurora Hotel Collection to private investor company Hotel Colessio (Holdings) for a rumoured £6M.
Peter Cashman, the Chief Executive of Focus Hotels Managment is a majority stakeholder in Hotel Colessio (Holdings) through his Cashman Hospitality Consulting business. Focus Hotels management currently operates numerous hotels, including three owned by Cashman’s private investment company and the recently opened Hotel Indigo in Dundee.
Aurora Hotel Collection, which was originally founded by Steven Mcleod, who remains a director, has two remaining businesses – Airth Castle Hotel and Spa, and Glenbervie House Hotel. At its height, it operated Glenbervie House Hotel, near Larbert, Cairn Lodge and the Kenmore Hotel & Luxury Lodges on the banks of the River Tay.
