Murrayshall launches new two-bedroom pods as part of £30m masterplan

Murrayshall Country Estate in Scone has officially launched a new collection of two-bedroom self-catering pods as part of its wider £30 million masterplan.

The Perthshire estate said the new accommodation had been introduced in response to demand for more flexible stays, particularly from families and groups, while also helping broaden its appeal as a year-round destination.

Set within the estate grounds, the pods each have two bedrooms, contemporary interiors and private outdoor space. Most include hot tubs, while some are also dog-friendly.

The launch takes Murrayshall’s accommodation offering to more than 60 rooms, suites and pods, alongside its existing hotel rooms and one-bedroom pods.

The new units form part of a wider investment programme at the estate, following recent refurbishment work across its golf courses and boutique rooms. Future plans include a kitchen replacement as well as new spa and leisure facilities.

Gary Silcock, General Manager at Murrayshall, said, “We are thrilled to officially open our new two-bedroom pods. This expansion allows us to welcome more guests to the estate while providing a different style of stay, one that offers privacy and independence without compromising on the four-star service Murrayshall is known for.”
