King Street Aparthotel launches charity-focused suites in Stirling

King Street Aparthotel in Stirling has launched a new initiative called ‘Rooms That Give Back’, linking four of its serviced suites to local charities, with a donation made for every booking.

The campaign was officially launched with a ribbon-cutting attended by the Lord Provost of Stirling, alongside charity representatives and members of the local community.

The suites have each been named in support of local organisations: Maggie’s Cancer Care Forth Valley, Strathcarron Hospice, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Museum Trust, and Friends of the Church of the Holy Rude. The hotel will donate a set amount to the relevant charity each time the suite is booked, with an introductory pledge to double all donations made before 30 September 2025.

Managing Director Neil Munday said, “Each door we open today tells a deeper story. These suites aren’t just rooms – they’re part of our promise to give back to Stirling, honour its heritage and support the people who make this city extraordinary.”

The new room initiative forms part of the wider redevelopment of the King Street property, which had been vacant for more than 20 years. The building now offers high-end short stay accommodation alongside a business incubation centre and what is claimed to be Scotland’s most northerly podcast suite.

The project has been led by owners Neil Munday and Paul Docherty, with a focus on creating a locally based business that supports both tourism and the surrounding community.

Lord Provost Elaine Watterson said, “It’s great to see a new business in the heart of Stirling give back to the community in this way.”
