The Smiths Hotel at Gretna Green is due to start work on a £250,000 renovation to create a new lounge for the award-winning, family-owned wedding and tourist destination.
The hotel say that the new lounge will bring a modern and contemporary feel to the 4-star hotel and elevate the guest experience.
Construction work will be carried out by Cubby Construction Ltd, the family business who revamped the bar and lounge at Gretna Hall Hotel in January 2023. Work starts Monday 2nd October, with the new lounge set to open at the end of the month.
