CRIEFF HYDRO’S WARREN BROWN INDUCTED INTO MASTER CHEFS OF GREAT BRITAIN

Chef Warren Brown has been inducted into the prestigious institution of the Master Chefs of Great Britain. Warren, executive chef at Crieff Hydro, has joined a select number of chefs who work to promote fine produce and local suppliers.

This exclusive institution hosts leaders in their field who work as Ambassadors for the association and promote the highest standard of cuisine and working practices. Members not only promote best practices within their own companies and establishments, but also assist in the training of the next generation of chefs in schools and colleges around the country.

There are only 150 Master Chefs currently inducted in the UK who work to promote the use of the finest food produce whilst embracing the very best that local suppliers have to offer.

George McIvor, National Chairman and Fellow of the Master Chefs of Great Britain, said: “I have watched Warren’s culinary Journey over many years with a keen interest. He is a shining beacon in Perthshire and the greatest example of where hard work and professionalism can take you. He is sheer inspiration to our chefs of the present and so hugely important to our young people of the future.”

Warren said, “I’m honoured to be inducted into the Master Chefs of Great Britain and I very much look forward to being in excellent culinary company. It’s a great opportunity to help promote our wonderful hospitality industry. Warren joined Crieff Hydro this summer from Macdonald Hotels & Restaurants, where he was Regional Executive. Other roles have included Executive Chef at Gleneagles, Hilton Worldwide and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
